Consul-General HE Lanjing Met with Chief Executive of the South Australian Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment Leonie Muldoon

Consul-General HE congratulated Ms. Muldoon on her appointment as Chief Executive of the DTTI. She said since her taking office as Consul-General, she has fully felt the high expectations of the South Australian community to develop economic, trade and investment cooperation with China. With Ms. Muldoon's rich experience in trade and investment and the joint efforts of both sides, it is believed that China and South Australia will continue to make new progress in trade and economic cooperation.

Ms. Muldoon thanked Consul-General HE for her support and assistance in promoting the friendly relations between the two sides. She said the South Australian Government gives high priority to expanding its ties with China. Cutting through the noise on international trade, our cooperation has achieved fruitful results with huge potential still lying ahead. She is ready to work with the Consulate-General to further promote the cooperation of us two sides and to enhance mutual understanding between both our peoples.

They also exchanged views on cooperation between local regions, CIIE and cooperation platform building, major investment and joint projects as well as other topics.
