On 15 November, Consul-General Li Dong met with Mr. Lv Zexiang, Chairman of China Energy International Group (CEIG), Deputy Consul-General He Jiangchuan attended the meeting.

Chairman Lv introduced CEIG’s overseas business, the development of its projects in Australia and its future plan. Consul-General Li welcomed Chairman Lv's visit to South Australia and said that President Xi Jinping guided the development of China-Australia cooperative relations when he met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in Beijing recently. Mr. Li said that the Chinese Consulate-General in Adelaide actively supports Chinese enterprises doing business in South Australia and hoped basing on its own advantages, CEIG can actively explore and promote practical cooperation with South Australia in energy development, especially in the field of clean energy.
