Deputy Consul-General PI Lijun Attended the China-Australia Wine and Spirit Forum

On Jun 14, 2019, the 2nd China-Australia Wine and Spirit Forum was held by the Australian Wine and Spirit Association and the China National Association for Liquor and Spirits Circulation at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Deputy Consul-General PI Lijun and Commercial Consul ZHANG Wei were invited to attend.

In his speech, Mr. PI briefed on the economic and trade relations between China and Australia. He said that China’s development will present enormous opportunities for Australia and other countries around the world. In recent years, the practical cooperation between China and South Australia in the economy and trade and other fields has maintained a good momentum. The Chinese Consulate-General is willing to work with all circles of South Australia to promote the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides for more fruitful results.

Mr. QIN Shuyao, Secretary-General of China National Association for Liquor and Spirits Circulation, Mr. Josh Teague MP, Ms. Sandy Verschoor, Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Mr. Andreas Clark, Chief Executive Officer of Wine Australia, Dr. Geoff Raby, Former Australian Ambassador to China attended the forum and delivered speeches. More than 100 wine distributors from China also participated.
