On 6th September, 2019, Chinese Consul-General in Adelaide Ms. HE Lanjing and South Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Mr. David Ridgway visited Shandong Stand at the 2019 Royal Adelaide Show. They took a close look at the exhibits and talked with the exhibitors.

Consul-General HE said that over the past 33 years of sister-state relationship between Shandong and South Australia, both sides have attached great importance to strengthening ties with each other and a good cooperation mechanism has been established. The exhibition is just a part of the mechanism and she wished the Shandong Stand this year a great success. Minister Ridgway showed strong interest in the products from Shandong with praise for their design and quality. He also welcomed more high-quality Shandong products to the South Australian market.

The Royal Adelaide Show has a history of nearly 180 years and is the State's largest exhibition. It runs for ten days and attracts hundreds of thousands of people from South Australia and interstate. Since 2015, South Australia has provided 144 square metres of open space for Shandong exhibitors for stand-building. Shandong Province has exhibited for the fifth consecutive year, with 10 Shandong companies participated this year.
