Acting Consul-General Yuncai Mei Attends the Launching Ceremony for China Chamber of Commerce in Australia(CCCA) Adelaide Branch

On June 19th, Launching Ceremony for China Chamber of Commerce in Australia(CCCA) Adelaide Branch is jointly held by CCCA and Consulate-General of China in Adelaide at Hilton Hotel. Acting Consul-General Yuncai Mei, Premier of South Australia Steven Marshall, over 200 representatives from government, business and other sectors attended.

Mr. Mei addressed at the ceremony by saying that the establishment of the Adelaide branch is a moment of elation. The economic and trade exchanges between China and South Australia are active. The pragmatic cooperation between the two sides is heading towards a new level. The accumulated investment of Chinese businesses with a total of 2 billion US dollars, has brought real benefits to both peoples and effectively promoted steady growth of both economics. He hoped that the Adelaide branch will constantly improve its working mechanism, fully play the role as a platform, bridge and window, demonstrate a good image of Chinese enterprises, whereby it will make greater contributions to the sustained, sound and steady development of friendly relations and practical cooperation between China and South Australia.

Steven Marshall, Premier of South Australia; Huaiyu Chen, the Chairman of CCCA, also the General Manager of Sydney Branch and Country Head of Bank of China in Australia; and Fusheng Gao, Chairman of CCCA Adelaide branch and Managing Director of Sinosteel Uranium SA also addressed the ceremony. The above honoured guests jointly unveiled the branch and issued membership certificate to each member companies.
 
Chinese Vice Consul-General Muxing Zhang and Consul Wei Zhang also attended the ceremony.
