Consulate General in Adelaide conducted a safety inspection tour to Chinese enterprises

To improve the level of emergency management of Chinese enterprises in South Australia, the Acting Consul-General Mei Yuncai conducted a safety inspection tour to the Bank of China Adelaide Branch and Wuhan Iron and Steel (Australia) Resources Investment Co.,Ltd on 25 May 2017,accompanied by staff members of the Consulate.

 

During the tour of inspection, Acting Consul-General Mei visited the office and residential areas of the enterprises, and listened carefully to reports on operation of the enterprises,implementation of safety measures and contingency plans. He said that safety is always very important. The Chinese overseas enterprises should effectively fulfill their responsibilities and consciousness for the safety in management, production and the safety of personnel and property. The Consulate General would continue to provide effective guidance and services in supporting and assisting Chinese enterprises to improve their capabilities of emergency management.

 

Relevant executives said that they would strictly adhere to the safety standard in Australia and keep on optimizing the precaution mechanisms and internal management to ensure safety of their personnel and enterprises,and therefore further contribute to the bilateral economic and trade collaboration between China and Australia.
